THE CITY AUTHORITIES AND THE COMPANY ORDOS, INNER MONGOLIA DONGFU NEW MATERIAL CO. LLC SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NEEDLE COKE.
02.10.2019 According to “Xinghua Finance”, The government of Ordos City (is one of the twelve major subdivisions of Inner Mongolia, China) and Inner Mongolia Dongfu New Material Co., Ltd signed the contract for project cooperation in construction of needle coke plant.
The total investment is about RMB 124 billion (USD 17,5 billion).
The total construction output is expected to be 200 thousand tons of coal-based needle coke, 50 thousand tons of UHP graphite electrodes, 200 thousand tons of anode materials, 200 thousand tons of activated carbon, 400 thousand tons of coal tar, completed output value will be around RMB 252 billion. The first phase of the project will be completed by the end of 2020.
