El 6 will hold the Second International Production and Engineering Conference: The Role of Graphite and Carbon-Based Products in Metallurgy for technical specialists of leading metallurgical companies on May 19 to 20 in Kaliningrad.
The Conference will discuss such topics as the situation in the market of graphite and carbon-based products with an analysis of main trends; the factors affecting the consumption of graphitized electrodes in electric melting of steel; the aluminum industry development prospects, etc.
El 6 representatives will tell the event participants about improvements in the production technology, ensuring the strength of carbon materials during their manufacture, and retrofitting nipple joints to enhance the quality and reliability of graphitized electrodes.
The event program includes speeches by representatives of aluminum and steel companies with a comparative analysis of using graphite and carbon-based products from various manufacturers.
The Conference venue will host four roundtables: “Aluminum”, “Steel”, “Ferroalloys”, and “Structural Graphites”, to be started with a debriefing in accordance with the 2022 Conference resolution.
