Indian Odisha govt agrees 3 investment projects in steel industry

It was reported that the Indian Odisha government had agreed three investment proposals in the steel sector, submitted by three companies, Kashvi International Private Limited, Purosteel India Private Limited, and Rungta Mines Limited.

Kashvi International would invest INR 55.23 crore to build an extra iron ore beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons to its Iron Ore Pelletization Plant.

Purosteel would invest INR 53.42 crore to establish a new facility focusing on operating tubes and pipes PVD coating, finished sheets, profiles, trimming plants, and furniture fabrication, which was said to bring 200 jobs opportunity.

Rungta Mines would expand its Integrated Steel Plant to a yearly capacity of 2.85 million tons with captive power plant and cement plant with a total investment of INR 7836.9 crore.
