BlueScope Steel Ltd. – Australian Corporate Power Purchase Agreement

BlueScope entered a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement to invest in a 500,000-panel solar farm, committing to purchase 66% of the energy generated from the farm. This investment enables the company to contribute to the decarbonization of the electricity grid by reducing 300,000 tonnes of CO2 -e emissions each year. The initiative has had a significant contribution to the local economy, creating jobs and increasing demand for local goods and services.
