The ultra-high power electrode material project is a high-tech project of Shandong Zaojiao Zaozhuang Zhenxing Carbon Material Technology Co., Ltd. relying on Xuecheng Chemical Park and introduced and constructed. In June 2018, it was selected as the main project of Shandong New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Project. The project was funded by Yujiao Group and Shanghai Kuoming Co., Ltd., mainly using the proprietary technology of Sinosteel Anshan Thermal Energy Research Institute, using the special soft asphalt of Jiefuyi Company as the raw material, and the coke oven produced by the park Xuecheng Energy Company. Gas is fuel, producing high-tech, high value-added products: ultra-high power electrode materials and lithium battery anode materials.
The project has invested a total of 1.5 billion yuan and the project is constructed in two phases:
The first phase covers an area of 230 mu, with an annual output of 40,000 tons of ultra-high power electrode materials and 50,000 tons of lithium battery anode materials. It can be completed and operated in June 2019.
The second phase will build an annual production of 80,000 tons of ultra-high-power electrode materials. It is expected to be completed and put into production in June 2020.
The ultra-high power electrode material is a carbon material with good electrical and thermal conductivity. It is mainly used to produce high-power or ultra-high-power graphite electrodes and lithium-ion anode materials. Ultra-high-power electrode materials have maintained high demand in China. The market prospects are good. After the completion of the project, the Jiaojia Group Revitalization Carbon Material Company will become the coal-based needle coke production base. The annual sales income will be 5 billion yuan and the profit and tax will be 1 billion yuan. For Xuecheng Chemical Park to further extend the industrial chain and increase the added value of products, it will play an important role in the development of the new energy and new materials in the Jiaocheng Group, and will also make greater contributions to the rapid development of the local economy.
