In 1962, SEC CARBON succeeded in commercially producing graphite electrodes with a 24-inch diameter, the world’s largest size at that time. Since then, SEC CARBON has built inherent trust as a pioneer of large-diameter electrode production. Our development capability and product quality have been widely recognized not only in Japan but also in the overseas market including the United States, Europe and rapidly growing Asian countries.

Not content with the current situation, however, we continue our efforts to make significant contributions to the industry for energy cost reduction and productivity improvement through our high-quality graphite electrodes.
